Doctrine of the Mean

In Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics, Aristotle argues that proper moral action should be decided via following the principles set forth in the “Doctrine of the Mean”.  In your essay, provide a complete, detailed explanation of the “Doctrine of the Mean” as understood by Aristotle.  To do so, choose an example to apply to the Doctrine of the mean to explain how proper moral action might be determined accordingly.  Following this explanation, you must provide your own assessment of Aristotle’s Doctrine of the Mean. In other words, you need to conclude your essay by stating whether or not you agree with Aristotle’s claims, and then explain why or why not.  It should take more than 2-3 sentences to properly argue your own position
