Management Game
The Management Game highlights management planning aspects. Students will form teams and make various decisions for their company. Master budgets [refer to Chapter 8] for the company will be prepared by the instructor based on team decisions. Teams will turn-in two papers [two or three pages].
The first paper will consist of an introduction followed by a section explaining (1) how various sales levels are obtained; and, (2) how to determine the per unit costs of the product described in the Management Game. Another section will describe the goal of the team.
The second paper will summarize results. It will consist of an introduction, followed by a section describing and discussing whether or not the team achieved its goal. The last section should explain what the team would recommend to a future team.
