4 DQ 2Euthanasia The intentional act of causing or hastening a patient’s death for generally good ends, such as the relief of pain and suffering. Includes active, passive, voluntary, involuntary, and nonvoluntary euthanasia (Hoehner, 2018).I have watched many documentaries about euthanasia greatly practiced in different parts of the world such as many parts of Europe. Often times I have seen people suffering from mental illness are the one looking into such options. Suicide is another mental health concern when people tend to not get help on time feeling of hopeless can have them take action that they might not realize they cannot turn around.I do not agree with neither the euthanasia or the Suicide but I do believe that people suffering from mental illness not able to get help on time dose end on in situations to take such actions. God has given a life to live and sends us on earth with purpose. But then there as situations in life that sometimes people cannot get over even with help of God. There is also wide variety of people that do not believe in God and does not have any means of connects with any spiritual groups. I have seen people over comes their fears with help of God but then there is only so much a human brain can control.Euthanasia and PAS are directly opposed to God’s direction, the inherent dignity of every man and woman, and an affront to the profession of medicine (Hoehner, 2018).Reflect on the analysis of the sin of suicide and, thus, euthanasia from the topic readings.
