Both of these documentaries were extremely sad to watch. These types of abuse are racist attacks and borderline abuse of a disabled person. The second documentary talked about the albinos face trouble with their eyes so attacks like this could be difficult because they are not able to see as well to defend themselves. The fact that people attack people based on their skin tone is very disheartening, especially knowing that these people do it to sell the victim’s body parts. I read a story just about how certain tribes have attacked visitors in certain areas of Africa because they do not trust that they are not spies in a book about Dian Fossey. I do not think the violence will go away through laws because these are not our territories to implement laws upon. However, I do believe if  there were some safe havens for albinos to stay in with protective services to help prevent future attacks. The mom of the woman who was attacked and was left ultimately disabled said she isn’t sure what to do because she has young kids and now she has to take care of her elder daughter because of the attack. Another point that may help is making it illegal for anyone to buy these body parts sold from countries in which we can enforce these laws or even taking it to an international committee in which everyone is on board about preventing the sale of these body parts which would make the appeal of the attacks less likely.:Respond to this post 35 word requirement
